Dr. Matthew Whitson
Dr. Matthew grew up just outside of Baxter, Tennessee in Jackson County. He spent most of his childhood on his Nanny and Pa's farm planting gardens and learning the value of hard work. From his youngest years, his faith in God has been the driving force behind his desire to help others enjoy healthy, fulfilling lives. During his time in college, he worked as a dental assistant at a local practice where he developed a lasting passion for dentistry.
Dr. Matthew graduated with a degree in biology health science from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. After undergrad, he went on to become a doctor of dental medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Today, Dr. Matthew couldn’t feel more excited to provide his hometown with genuine, personalized care as the co-owner of Baxter Family Dentistry. He loves that his work allows him to connect with patients as individuals, taking the time to relate to their challenges and point them towards thoughtful dental solutions. Most of all, he loves having the opportunity to spark real, trusting friendships with the families in his care.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Matthew chershing quality time with his two sons, Knox and Noah. He also enjoys golfing, being outdoors, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers during football and basketball season! Merandaa began her dental career in 2018 after graduating from MedQuest College in Kentucky. She then moved to Tennessee and has decided this is home. Outside of work, she enjoys family time with her 2 children and 2 dogs. She also enjoys doing craft projects and exploring the outdoors.
McKenna Burish

Mckenna started her dental career in 2022 graduating from Genesis Career College. She has been such a great asset as she is from Baxter as well! She enjoys playing with her 2 dogs, traveling, and shopping. She especially enjoys time with her family, friends, and eating sweets!

Brandi was born and raised in Baxter and loves working with the community she is from. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, hiking, football, and baseball. She especially enjoys watching our Upperman Bees!
Hannah Langley
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hannah joined the world of dentistry in 2013 and has enjoyed working in the Baxter area since 2020. She and her family are active members in the community and church where her husband is a youth and college pastor. In her free time, she enjoys DIY projects, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and 4 boys.

Vanessa became a hygienist in 2014, graduating from Briarcliffe College on Long Island, NY. She loves the small town feel of Baxter and getting to know her patients. She's currently developing a homestead in Jackson County, and enjoys spending time with her fiance, Blayne, and her growing family of pets.
Bethany Jones
Office Manager and Registered Dental Hygienist
Bethany is from the area and grew up in Jackson County. She has been a hygienist for 5 years, graduating from Tennessee State University. She enjoys the hometown feel of working in Baxter and loves seeing her friends and family as patients. When she isn't working, she enjoys home DIY, playing volleyball, and spending time with her son, Hayden.
